Blush Magazine: Spring Summer 2019 Out Now An ode to Dutch heritage and much more!

Posted by Blush Magazine Posted on January 3, 2019

Happy New Year readers! We are absolutely thrilled it’s January, this month means a fresh start to all our goals and a brand new issue of Blush Magazine! The Spring Summer 2019 cover and editorial was created and executed by Lucier Photography along with the help of local creatives and businesses based in Edmonton.

Danielle Lucier wanted to inspire brides to choose colours and themes that feel like home to them, so she created a stylized wedding shoot as an ode to her Dutch heritage. Orange and blue form a unique wedding palette that still looks soft and romantic, and the wooden clogs and oversized milk cans add a touch of whimsy instead of kitsch. Danielle also incorporated her grandmother’s Delft china as well as the traditional baking and candies she grew up eating. This creative shoot feels fresh and new, yet still has a familiar warmth. “This is home for me.”

Copies will be on stands at Chapters and Indigo near the end of January or you can order online today.
