Rustic Lake House Wedding

Madeline and Jordan first met on the dance floor while celebrating a mutual friend’s birthday. After that night they would keep meeting again at other events and started dating eight months later.

The Proposal

Madeline’s favourite holiday is Valentine’s day, so when a Mexican vacation with friends coincided with February 14^th, Jordan had the perfect opportunity to propose. He got down on one knee at the end of a pier in front of their friends, who cheered and took pictures while the couple shed tears of joy.

The Big Day

Since many of their wedding guests would be coming from out of town, Madeline and Jordan wanted the convenience of having their ceremony and reception at the same location. They immediately fell in love with the rustic beauty of The Lake House and chose to keep the décor simple and elegant to reflect their style and let the venue shine.

Their day started with their first look at Fish Creek Park, then during the ceremony they alternated reading their vows to each other one line at a time. They sealed their “I do’s” with a life-altering smooch followed by a champagne toast. After an unforgettable dinner, they cut the cake and danced the night away—just like the time they first met.
