Downtown YEG Wedding

The moment Rob met Amy he knew she was someone he had to get to know. The very next day he invited her to a local bar where one of her favourite bands happened to be playing… and the rest is history!

The Proposal

The pair were engaged in Croatia during a hike. They found themselves caught in a crazy rainstorm, but then the clouds parted and sun began to shine. Rob and Amy were enjoying the breathtaking view together when he said “Just one more thing”. Amy turned around to find him down on one knee! She was totally shocked and to this day can’t believe he pulled off a surprise like that.

The Big Day

For their big day, Rob and Amy envisioned an intimate, playful and modern ceremony. They knew they wanted a casual feel and liked the unique aspects of Cory Christopher’s studio, and the design of Iconoclast Koffiehuis. Plus, the newlyweds are huge coffee drinkers and loved getting to incorporate that!

Favourite Moments

Though the entire day was incredible, Rob will never forget the first look at his bride and the moment they got to share. Amy loved relaxing and connecting with their bridal party at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald after their photo session.
