Country Chic Micro Wedding
Ashleigh + Scott: Country Chic Micro WeddingPosted by Blush Magazine • Posted on October 18, 2021
It all started at a ballpark in Airdrie where Ashleigh was introduced to Scott by a college friend of Ashleigh’s sister.
The Proposal
After ten months of dating, Scott proposed to Ashleigh out at Scott’s parent’s cabin in Nakusp B.C. While Ashleigh was looking out at the lake that morning, Scott only had eyes for her and got down on one knee.
The Big Day
Planning a wedding during a pandemic proved to be the ultimate test with numerous cancellations, postponed dates and a reduced guest list. Along the way, Ashleigh and Scott struggled to see what their wedding would like. With the final obstacles of borders closing, they decided to hold an intimate wedding on a family farm.
Their intimate chic farm wedding day turned out to be perfect. They had an intimate ceremony where Scott’s father married them and a reception on the farm with their closest family and friends.
Favourite Moments
Ashleigh: “my favourite moment of the day was to simply spend time with my husband with an intimate gathering of family and friends.”
