Metallic Wedding Inspiration Kiss Me Silver and Gold

Today’s styled wedding was dreamt up out of a vision of using a metallic colour palette for a wedding day. Central Alberta based photographer Nikki Collette wanted to create a wedding where everything felt like it was dripping in silver and gold.
The Tin Roof Event Centre was the perfect setting for the theme. To bring the vision to life, Nikki reached out to Calgary based wedding designer, Melissa Dawn Event Designs, and together they created the magic you see here. The mixed metallic textures with dried florals, soft satin linens and the most stunning hand-dyed chiffon backdrop from The LOVLI Collection made for a spectacular setting to celebrate a couple in love. The stunning couple was dressed in sleek and modern attire, looking ready for the night of their lives.
We are accustomed to seeing champagne bars at weddings and events and love how this team took a different approach and styled a whiskey bar on a vintage cart with local spirits.
The three tiered white cake was embellished in metallic goodness and set next to a neon sign that read “Crazy in Love’ to add a unique touch to the day.
Lastly, Melissa Dawn Event Designs created additional installation pieces to drape from the grand ceilings. Inspired by golden chandeliers and dreamy stars, they added a touch of whimsy and romance to the wedding design. This team made every effort to “kiss” the venue in silver and gold and we can’t be anymore obsessed with it all!
