The City of Light is the inspiration for this French brasserie styled shoot; we’ve taken the romance of dining in Paris to an intimate celebration of love at a Calgary restaurant. Decadent shades of merlot, cream and French blue in the décor and stationery are a whimsical nod to the tricolour flag. Crisp white linens and pops of gold in the table setting add a luxurious contrast to the crinkled table runner and rustic floral arrangements. Our bride’s loose chignon and simple drop earrings are the perfect accessories to her flowing gown of lace and chiffon, while her debonair groom pairs a lustrous charcoal suit with a classic black bowtie. If a relaxed vibe and pure romance is the theme for your day, consider a cozy fête at your favourite local restaurant. Indulge in fine food, wine and company, and raise a champagne flute to joie de vivre.
Wedding inspiration comes in all styles and colors, but when it’s shot in the beautiful Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, you know it’s going to be lovely! Organic Love comes to us from a handful of local creatives (see below for list). The use of natural materials and lush soft florals made for some pretty inspirational photos.
A desert minimalism inspired shoot is just what the doctor ordered today, and we’re happy to provide the goods from Pam Kriangkum Photography and MB&Company. It’s so hard to believe that this incredible shoot was shot indoors. If you’re looking for an ample amount of natural light, Events by Hole’s is the perfect venue for shoots or weddings. We are excited to finally share these images that were shot exclusively for Local Love presented by Blush Magazine.
We’ve been holding onto this styled shoot for quite some time now and are so thrilled we can share it with you all today. It’s the most perfect way to transition to next month’s season – although we are writing from Alberta and winter already arrived! This shoot was inspired by snow and shot in Jasper, Alberta. Be sure to check out all the local companies that made this happen (below the images). Enjoy!
